INTRODUCTION - UNDERSTANDING SQUIGGLE'S SERVICES

The short answer is no. Squiggle does not provide legal advice, and our company specializes in will writing and estate planning services in the most user-friendly, affordable, and flexible way possible.

Our platform allows you to create your Will and manage your estate plan online quickly, securely, and cost-effectively.

In most circumstances, you do not need a lawyer.

WHY IS A LAWYER NOT NECESSARY?

Many people believe that estate planning is a complicated process that requires the intervention of a lawyer. But this is not true.

Many aspects of the will drafting process are standardised and do NOT require the intervention of a lawyer.

CHALLENGES OF TRADITIONAL LEGAL SERVICES

One of the many complaints we hear from our clients is that traditional legal services can end up being slow, cumbersome, costly and not very transparent.

This is precisely the reason why we established Squiggle. Writing a simple Will does not need to become a protracted and costly affair. We aim to demystify the entire process so that you have a simple, clear, cost-effective alternative where YOU are in control of the process the whole time.

SQUIGGLE'S COMMITMENT

Squiggle's mission is to provide an online platform that streamlines the entire estate planning process, makes it more transparent, secure, easily navigable, and puts you in control.

In addition, our documents are designed to meet strict criteria and formatted to be considered legally valid, irrespective of whether a lawyer creates them.

SQUIGGLE ALSO PROVIDES PERSONALISED SUPPORT

We're happy to meet you for a personalised consultation if you're looking for a more comprehensive estate planning strategy.

We understand that every family is unique, and we dedicate time to understanding your specific needs, explaining various options, and guiding you in making informed decisions for your family's future.

The initial consultation is held on a 'no-obligation' basis and is provided free of charge.

WHEN SHOULD YOU SEEK LEGAL ADVICE?

While Squiggle's platform addresses most standard requirements, we recognize that clients need specialist legal advice occasionally.

When this happens, we sometimes recommend that you consult with a lawyer about any specific technicalities we consider beyond the scope of our remit.

Under such circumstances, we're happy to refer you to one of our trusted legal partners with whom we've worked for many years.

NOTE:

While Squiggle is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we go to great lengths to ensure our services meet the highest standards of quality and integrity, in line with our Code of Practice and Quality Guarantee. On the few occasions where you require additional legal advice, we'll refer you to one of our legal partners.
